Welcome to the 2011-2012 season!  We need your help...

Thanks to all those that have already volunteered and are signing up for courses. The longevity of our club depends on the parents that are volunteering to run the events.  There are three events in total for the upcoming season and include Canadian Selections, BC Series 1 and a NorAm.

Canadian Selections Moguls event December 15th - 18th.  Go here to read more about the event and sign up on the volunteer list.  

Officials Training.  All parents are invited to learn more about how an event is organized by attending the LEVEL 1 Officials clinic on December 28th at 3:30 pm at the Airsite building.  Glenn Spence will lead the two hour clinic (powerpoint presentation pdf ).  This clinic is really essential for all freestyle parents to attend and will help you better understand the sport as well as the organizational structure of hosting events.  

Scoring Clinic.  All events have a sophisticated scoring system for generating results.  Our club is in need of recruiting more parents to learn how to become scorers.  An online clinic is being offered on Wednesday, December 14th. Please contact Wade Garrod (Executive Director of BC Freesytle) for course time and details and to register wade@bcfreestyle.com.

Register with CFSA.  Please go online (similar to the CFSA registration that you completed for your athlete) and register as a volunteer on the CFSA website.  It is important for many reasons (insurance, funding, communications, the right thing to do) that all parent volunteers be registered with CFSA.  Cost is $21.00
